Happy Easter! Christ is Risen!
And, then there is my souffle, which looked spectacular coming out of the oven:
Then, it started shrinking. I put it in car, knowing the inevitable fate. I drove to my friends' house. And the closer I got, the more upset I got. I knew it would be funny. But, I had to cry about my culinary failure first. When I got to H & T's, the door was open. I stood on the porch. "H?" "What's up, Pina?" "My souffle collapsed." And then I cried and laughed because it was starting to be funny. By the time the rest of the guests arrived, it was only really funny. And, bless my friends, they still ate it.
